Beloved, whatever you are building right now in your career, ministry or business, don’t despise the day of small, humble and seemingly insignificant beginnings. Involve Jesus and allow His provision of favor, wisdom and power to multiply and grow the little things in your hands. — Pastor Joseph Prince (via godsradicaldaughter)

This is how I spent my weekend….. took a scissors to my hair.

This is how I spent my weekend….. took a scissors to my hair.

My mother be like….

Now that my mother knows I’m graduating soon, she’s been calling me everyday talking about:
“Ada, I want make you find husband ooo”
” I want you to marry this year and have kids while you’re still young. “
“What is the name of the man. I want to give it to my pastor, so that he can pray”

Hahaha… see me see wahala. Can I breathe? I didn’t ask to be Ada (first daughter). I’m not even that old lol

sometimes, I question the universe’s motives. why do bad things happen to people that are trying their best to receive good. why is love so hard to come by. who is or is not a soulmate. where is home.
I am struggling to remember that everything happens for a reason. whatever energy is put out, is received, and sometimes, not at the exact moment, but eventually you receive what you have been acting for.
trust time.

Anybody that ever broke your heart,
Anybody who refused to appreciate you,
Anybody who did you wrong,
Anybody who took advantage of your kindness,
Anybody that just was a shitty person..
Forgive them.
Don’t give them the satisfaction of you fighting back,
Of you talking shitty about them.
Don’t be a shitty person,
They don’t even deserve that part of you.
Forgive them
And move on.
Watch how the flowers in your garden bloom
Once you’ve walked away from
Poisoned waters.
— Forgive.

do you know when you read a book that’s just so well written that when you finish it you can’t help but just sit there in silence for a few minutes just thinking about it, and then you reread the last couple pages, and just close the book and kind of stroke the cover in a weird sort of way and just keep thinking because it leaves such a strong impression on you that it just kinda haunts you in the back of your mind for the next few days

So I just chopped off all my hair..

Yup, cut it myself…
I don’t know how I feel about it.
I feel like crying, but the tears aren’t coming.

I never dreamed of cutting my hair… at least not anytime soon, but I took out my braids and I had a lot of knots in my hair (that’s what happens when u have your braids on for too long).. it was worse after I washed it. It became impossible to detangle. Let’s just say my frustration got the scissors to work.
The end.
